My last one before Covid had James Carville. He didn't say anything motivational and he had nothing to do with the topic of the conference, but he was fun to listen to and told a lot of stories.
The one before that was a guy who had a gun under his pillow that accidentally discharged and went clear through his brain. And he survived and now tours the nation "telling his story" as if it is somehow awe inspiring or something. I mean, his story was interesting and it is lucky he survived with nothing more than a migraine and the x-rays he showed were fascinating, but I wasn't really inspired by him, nor did he leave me thinking about anything beyond when the next meal was.
