It's pretty cool. Some of the books I read last year:
Lord of the Rings trilogy
Old Testament (all counted as one book)
New Testament (all counted as one book)
All current GoT books
All Sanderson books (Stormlight, Mistborn, etc)
78 self-improvement books
138 from the New York Times Bestseller lists
No Marvel or superhero books in my library
I have a very disciplined structure to it. First, every first of the month, I go on Amazon and purchase books in advance (30-45 books) for the next month. Then I am very disciplined every night before bed in pulling out the books, skimming through it, and reading the Wikipedia plot summary/chapter summary before moving on to the next book.
Currently my library is growing and growing, and I'm open for new recommendations (if I haven't already read it, I probably have). It's a fun hobby and I'm really glad that I was blessed with the discipline to read/follow this strenuous schedule.
