The JT hate was mind-boggling to the point that some clowns made up stuff about him to justify their criticism. One dude on here tried to say he was a horrible rebounder — JT was the team's leading rebounder at that point (and is top 10 all time). Others tried to say he didn't play defense. Again, he led the team in steals and is top 10 all time. It was bizarre. JT could definitely take some bad shots, but by his last season he was money and I believe he single-handledly beat Louisville for us. He agreed to come off the bench as a 6th man as a senior to put the team first, despite being an elite player.
He is an all-time great, imo, and most people grew to love him, but there was some serious hate early on.
