When you consider people who took over 1 shot per game average, JT was last place. Most people consider you need to shoot 2 shots per game to be considered in the conversation of FG% as anything less usually is a very small statistic and therefore insignificant.

He also started coming off the bench because Hartsock was rebounding better, shooting better, and earned the starting position. Whether it was JT's idea or not. . . It was the right decision after he bombed the game against Utah State, but he kept shooting the ball even though he was ice cold and other players were performing better.

JT shot 3 pointers well, Granted Jimmer and Jackson were better shooters. But JT was a solid 3pt shooter. But your stat of him being a better 3pt shooter than all those other guys. . . The complaint against JT was that he shot a TON of 3pt shots and most considered he would have done better if he would have passed the ball on more 3 pt shots, where as all the other players you listed shot far fewer 3 pt shots.


Overall, I am not saying that JT was a bad player. . . but I support the comments on CB that were saying JT needs to shoot less and give Jimmer the ball more as Jimmer was already a unique talent his junior year. JT would have been best served to run the offense through Jimmer and take less shots personally. Everything you have stated has not addressed this.
