On the Low-Jack, they'll give you a spiel about how they install it on all their vehicles for "insurance" when they get
off the truck, so that cost is passed on. If you want it removed, they "charge a fee". I told them to remove it anyway, so the "Lo-Jack" costs $899, the removal fee is $250 and they don't keep the $899, it's removed. So you still recoup $500 if you demand it to be removed. At least it was that way with the dealership I was negotiating with.
But at the end of the day, they still hacked your ignition wiring, and that sucks.

I'm sure many elderly people have bought cars complete unaware of the 1,000% markup. That's why I consider them crooks.
