And if I just Google the question, this is what I get from CNBC which is not
even close to either of them:
It says Beatles sold 600mm worldwide, but 177 in US alone (this is dates as of 2014). The 177 from CNBC is linked back to RIAA data, so I think the RIAA is pulling just US records sold.
