I agree - that most people answer the other vacation questions based on what they're hoping to get out of it.

I answered "doing family activities", because to me, the most important part is the time we have together as a family. None of my immediate family lives far enough away to have answered "vacationing TO family" yet - but I could see that coming in the next few years.

Spending time with family combined with some rest and relaxation are most important to me. I want to see cool things and new places too - but that's secondary.
