The minor fact he didn't "beat out" Baylor for Qb2. This could mean very little, however, given how highly rated he was and that he was running with the team the entire '20 season (scout team etc), I thought he would of secured the back up spot going into '21.

Remember, T Magnum was starting after returning from mission in July prior to his '15 frosh season. In '07 Max Hall was brilliant after his freshman scout team '06 season/no prior college snaps.

The positive is our back up Qb's should still have another full season to continue to develop before seeing any meaningful PT(I say this really hoping Hall remains healthy next yr--which isn't a given).
