I feel like there are not any safe places to camp anymore that are...
.....close to Salt Lake County or Utah County. We stayed overnight at 5 mile pass last year with the young men and even there you had some sketchy people driving around at 3am

Went on a campout with my son’s troop on the far side of Utah Lake. Woke up at 3 to the sound of gunfire fairly close.
