Blue for Life Intervention Needed
What are you using the car for?
If you plan on going on tons of road trips, I get the concern and doubt about the charging time.

If you use your car 90% around town and don't really take it on road trips, it is a no brainer. You can charge your car at night, for very little depending on your electricity price and then go over 350 miles that day.

But yes if you want to drive across country it will be different than using a gas car.

According to Tesla these are the charging times:

Vehicle Supercharge Speed
Model S Up to 200 miles in 15 minutes
Model 3 Up to 175 miles in 15 minutes
Model X Up to 175 miles in 15 minutes

Plugging your car in and then going into the restroom etc you could be in there easily for 20-30 minutes if you had kids, buying stuff, etc. That would give you a good 350-400 miles on either car. That is about equal to a car pitstop.
