Time to charge is a real thing but the cost to install a charger is meaningless
Even if it costs $30-40 to charge an electric truck, that is 50% of what it costs to fill up a gas truck. You'd pay off the charger in a few months.

I want a truck to do truck things like pulling a boat or to drive out in the boonies. That's my big hangup. Range off road or pulling a boat is pretty limited. There will need to be a major battery capacity changes to make it a no brainer.

My biggest concern with EVs is the charging networks and how they clog up so easy during busy travel times. I don't want to wait hours for a supercharger to open up on a road trip.
