The batteries in a Tesla are significantly more efficient when it is warm- seems weird but it is true.
In the winter, you get more efficient usage if you precondition your car before driving (preconditioning is basically the car warms the batteries up before you drive).

8 years or 100k whatever comes first. And yes real life expectancy is looking closer to 300k or 400k.
