I tried jumping jobs last year.
Factoring in work demands, I could not find anyone willing to pay me more (relative to COL) than I currently earn.
But I'm guessing that in 15 years that will not be the case. My current employer is so tight with pay raises that they price themselves out of the market very quickly.
