I'm on the federal government gravy train. It'd be hard to leave.
I do not get paid even close to what some of my peers earn, but I also don't have to pay $4000/month for a 2bd/2ba apartment in San Francisco.
That being said, I think that in 10-15 years, I'll end up leaving my job to get a pay raise and leave behind the dreadful Idaho winters.
