It seems like the basketball team might be turning a corner
There have been some really good developments over the last 3 or 4 games:
-The development of Atiki Ally Atiki has been perhaps the most positive development. Losing Baxter and Harward was devastating to the team, and Caleb getting minutes at the 5 was less than ideal. He is still young (perfectly normal, we maybe forget what a freshman should look like because of Fouss) and raw, but him be able to come off the bench understand his defensive assignments and score a bucket every now and then is huge.
-Seneca Knight figuring out his role. SK has a ton of talent and I think is finally adjusting to the system. His comfort in the system allows him to be aggressive because his coaches trust him more.
-Fouss' passing is also a great development. It's been said by everyone that Fouss has a very mature game for his age, but his passing is perhaps the most exciting of all his development/maturity. I think you'll see BYU's 3 point percentage come up in league play as BYU plays more inside out basketball. Guys have been getting more open looks lately, due in part to Fouss' passing.
-Barcello taking a bigger role in critical moments of the game. His transitioning from hyper-efficient shooter (defenses are completely keyed in him because of that) to having-the-ball-in-my-hands-during-critical-moments leader.

The team is still learning to work together and they still need to improve quite a bit if they are going to get out of the first round of the NCAAs, but it's been great to see the progress in the last 3 or 4 games.
