Oh man, you could write books on all of the "what if" guys. For every athlete
that establishes themselves as a top player, there are 10 more that have at least similar potential that don't.
Injuries, timing, academics, personal stuff, etc. The stories are endless. The window to blossom as a college athlete is so small, and it was even smaller in the past.
