Pete The Hope That Kills You
My neighbor maintains a weather station in Mapleton. I've pulled data from the last 2 "water" years. As of this morning
with the rain we've gotten overnight, his station has received more rain in the 2021-2022 water year (October 1, 2021-September 30, 2022) than we received in the previous water year (October 1, 2020-September 30, 2021)

For the previous water year we received 13.69 inches of precipitation.

As of a few minutes ago, for the current water year which doesn't end for almost 5 months, we've received 13.83 inches.

Average is somewhere around 17-18, so we're not necessarily having a "good" year, and we're definitely helped by the fact that we got over 5.5 inches in October, but we're not really having a "bad" year as of now. More rain to come in the next week too...
