My brother in law recently went to the hospital and found out he was in ketoacidosis. He has been diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes and is still in the hospital for a day or two while they get him stable and educate him, etc..

We have a great relationship and I'm going to visit him today. He is in high spirits and just trying to adjust to his new reality. Any ideas on a small gift of some sort that would be encouraging but also play on the diabetes thing? And again, this is Type 1, he's very fit, so can't do fat jokes.
