Colorado wasn't nearly this bad last year. Fortunately Wyoming is mostly OK, and ID/MT are, too.

Most of the melt starts now and river flow peaks in a month or so. So yeah it does.

April 1 is when it means the most because that's typically the height of the snowpack each spring. But it still matters
