replaced the broken cable in our Honda Odyssey’s sliding door. It opened and closed just fine on my first try after fixing it. I tested it again and on the second try it opened normally, then as it was closing it got right at the point of latching closed before it started beeping and opening back up again.

I tried turning off and on the automatic door switch and testing it some more. I was able to get it closed a couple more times but it keeps reverting back to opening right at the point of latching closed. I think it’s a sensor issue, but I don’t know much about cars so I’m not entirely sure.

Any ideas car people?
