I have a daughter with Type 1, luckily technology makes life easier.
You will get super frustrated at times, but things get easier when you get in a routine. My daughter who was diagnosed at 8 and is now 12 can do everything on her own at this point. The fact that your kid is already 12 will make the transition easier.

Came home from vacation and noticed my 12 year old had lost about 10lbs. He’s also been saying his vision is blurry.
