My wife and I drove up early on Friday to spend the day in Logan before the game. We met my niece and nephew (both USU students) at Herm's Inn and took them to lunch. Then we got Aggie Ice Cream and took a little stroll around USU campus.

The game was awesome, of course. BYU beat what turned out to be a pretty darn good Aggie team. The views of the sun setting over Cache Valley from the east stands were completely gorgeous.

We spent the night in Logan, then the next morning we made our way out of town and stopped at Maddox for lunch. It was a dreamy little overnighter.

Some (most?) USU fans are obnoxious, and yeah we could put better games on our schedule, no doubt, but I'll admit: I'll miss playing Utah State a little bit.
