pedestrians and bicyclists. And alcohol or drugs were a factor in 302 of those incidents (sometimes for the driver but frequently the peds/cyclists are stoned/drunk, too).

Don't abuse drugs or alcohol, people.

It isn't from a study. It's straight out of the crash database that UDOT keeps. However, the reason I saw the figures is

Seems like SLC is choosing the wrong solution in lowering res speeds to 20.

I think it's the wrong decision because lower speed limits does little to reduce

It totally depends on how you do it. If you reduce speeds by changing the physical environment to make it feel natural
