One problem is Fouss really isn't a 4 and lacks range. His game on both ends

Pope was using a 3-guard lineup. Knell is not a 3. He's only 6'4". Gideon will take over the 3, Knell takes over the 2

He's not a great defensive fit anywhere. But Pope thought his best fit was at SF

Seems like we're splitting hairs. Expect both play 20+ minutes at SG & SF. Assumes Knell plays as he did 2 seasons ago.
