CB sod experts, is my sod dead?
It is zoysia. We installed it five days ago. Since then, we have been watering twice daily for 20 minutes at a time.

No. It takes time. But be sure to water it well, but don't over water it.

I don't know about over watering. I worked at a golf course and we would water

No, but as Turnpike hinted, you might be overwatering

It’s zoysia not cattails- 2” a day would be a swamp

Depends upon the state and temp. In TX right now it would be dry

I live in Texas and 2 inches a day would be a mosquito bog

If it was fescue, yes. No idea in your case.

I think you got old grass, cut and sat. I had a pallet like that. Got them to

It’s clear your sprinklers aren’t laying down an equal amount of water

Water more, not less. It takes four weeks to properly root in.
