1. BYU Fans have the privilege of a football national championship. Not all fans can claim this. Be cautious when celebrating your team around others.
2. Cougar fans have a Heisman award winner. When watching the Nissan Heisman House commercials, be aware that others watching may feel saddened by not having an alumnus appearing in the commercial.
3. Mascot Envy. Many schools have mascots, but it's almost guaranteed that it will not be as cool as Cosmo. Do not brag about your talented and amazing mascot to others.
4. You likely graduated from Brigham Young University. This puts you at an advantage in countless ways, most notably lower tuition, better education, and really great decals to put on your car.
5. You probably married (or will marry) a beautiful woman (depending on how hard you worked on your mission). This can cause extreme jealousy in others, so be wary of exhibiting your couples privilege unawares.
6. Look in the mirror. Your are probably wearing something navy or royal blue. Fans of other schools wear gear colored orange, brown, or even red. Be grateful for this.
7. There are many other ways being a Cougar grants you privileges you may be unaware of. Talk with other Cougs about what benefits you experience of which you may not be aware.
