We love our dogs but we also don’t treat them like children or humans.

I have no problem with people not liking dogs. I grew up with no dogs. Wish I did. My kids are growing up with 2 big dogs at home and love them.

But they are animals. We are leaving them for 3 weeks this summer. We won’t miss them. But we’ll be excited once we see then.

We also have horses, chickens, and barn cats. My girls constantly ask for additional animals…rabbits, pigs, etc.

It’s great thst they have daily chores to take care off all these…yet, they still want more animals.

Animals add a great dynamic to the family. But they are not for everyone.
