Why is the price of oil per barrel lower than it has been historically yet gas
at the pump is the highest it’s ever been? I don’t understand this disconnect. The price of crude from 2007 to 2014 was closer to $120 a barrel and now is slightly over $100 a barrel. Is the difference that the cost to refine it now is higher?
