Family in my stake who homeschools their kids and they are all awesome. They do sports and the kids are great socially. This family will also live remotely for months at a time. The dad works remotely so they can. They lived in Europe for several months last year. Not sure how they do it but they do it the right way. They are the exception from what I have seen.
