The roster before it is done? What makes you think Pope is anywhere near to done building the roster?

And how do you know what the roster will look like and how the team will play this season?

It is certainly interesting to see the wide spread negativity and basically, near panic, on this board for the last several months.

All starting with some guys who got no minutes deciding they would rather play elsewhere than not at all? I applaud those guys—Erickson, Hansen, Dowdell, even Seneca and Baxter!

If I had their talent I would seize the day and find a happy landing spot. My sincere best wishes to each one of them.

And now text after text of gloom and doom—in May still!!

Tons of players being sorted still by our staff, with two really good players already committed. One of whom might actually be better than our best player last year. Not the frustration Alex is and was a stud for us but he lacked size and was guardable—admittedly while being double teamed and hacked half to death.

The other new signee has some high level skills and talent to go along with size and handles to give us a 3 or 4 man that Caleb couldn’t last year. I will miss Caleb’s fire and physicality but not the frustration of watching him doink shots in the key and air all 3’s. Moore has 4 years to grow in the Big 12.

I love Aiken’s game and I think he will help our team a ton on offense and defense, and also NCAA experience for a top 5 team. I hope we get him, cuz he could be a game changer teamed with Rudi—both of whom will be team leaders.

George will be better than he was beginning of last year—possibly the leading scorer if his handles improve.

Fouss and AAA are both a year older, had good experience last year, and should be noticeably improved.

SJ and Knell as seniors and glue/role guys in the rotation, with Hall, Saunders and Toolson better than our end of the bench last year by leaps and bounds.

And Pope is not done yet! It’s still early!
