It was a huge rivalry in the old Southwest Conference from the 60's to the 80's.
When Arkansas was good, LOL.
Things changed in the 90's when the Hogs went to the SEC and the Big XII was formed (Texas).

They were big SWC conference rivals at one time... when the SWC disbanded, the BIG12 was formed, Arkansas went to SEC...
