When I was a kid my parents gave me U of U tube socks as a gift because my Dad
worked there. My response was: “I’m sorry I can’t wear those. I’m a BYU kid.”
My mom jokingly reminded me of that story the other day. We are a BYU family and my Dad didn’t like working at the U. But he didn’t realize how deep my BYU fandom ran.
I am proud of my kid self.
