CB seems to hate your D coordinator

In a way - I get it. We Ute fans typically go after our offensive coordinator. However, the stats seem to tell a different story.

BYU beat all 5 PAC12 schools they played and held the offenses of these teams to below their season average except USC. But, by then, your defense was decimated with injury.

I understand that allowing 31 points in the bowl games seems bad. But, again your defense was riddled with injuries, and shouldn't the offense have scored more than 28 points against UAB. If I was going to be upset about the bowl game - I would have been upset with the offense more than the defense.

I am not trying to troll BYU fans. My sincere question - Was BYU's defense that bad? Throw out the wild UVA game.

BYU's defense was on the field for 880 plays, their offense for 868. That's a difference of 0.92 plays per game.

We had one of the top offenses in the country and still were at a deficit. The defense is the reason.
