Coach Whiting has to now recruit and convince her daughter to come play for her at BYU. If she is as competitive as we hear and what she says she plans to do for the program, she has to go for the best talent that she can get to come to BYU. That would have to include her own daughter (#33 ranked recruit?), despite her being committed to Oregon.

This should be an easy sell for our new coach. It's not a good start for her recruiting efforts if you can't get your own daughter. I get that as a parent you want to support your athlete son or daughter to make their own decision, but if you're the parent and the coach of a Big12 program, you have to take it a little personal if your athlete daughter decides to snub you for another program.

If she can get her daughter to come, it's a big win and great start to building the foundation for the next few years as we enter the Big12.
