If I were a coach I would 100% not want to coach my own kid. I would leverage whatever I could to get the best

opportunity for my kid, but I would do my best to avoid it. I'm sure it would work out in many family dynamics, but not mine.

My inability to be an efficient coach for my kid is illustrated by this video which might as well be footage from my practices:
