I'm not going to rehash the hire and I'm hoping she does a great job but they hired a head coach who's resume probably wouldn't have gotten her an interview as an assistant at most D1 schools...this suggests that the pool of candidates who meet all the requirements to coach at BYU is very shallow.
So, replacing the DC might sound great but how many guys can and are willing to meet all the requirements from BYU to work there?
I'm guessing not as many as we hope or think, especially considering the legendary thriftiness of the institution as well.
If we replace Tuiaki it's likely with someone without any real track record of success.
