RE: Wife said radiologist found a "spot" on her left breast in a mammogram
I have followed cougar board for 20 years and have never posted until now. My wife just had something very similar happen and so that is why I am posting. She has always had lipomas so when she felt a lump in her breast she did not go in right away just thinking it was another lipoma . She has now found out that it is a 2 cm tumor, an aggressive type of cancer so because of the size she will be going through chemotherapy for the next five months then surgery, then another year of chemotherapy. So in my opinion don’t wait. If they had been able to catch this earlier she would more than likely not need to go through chemotherapy and could have just done a lumpectomy. I would recommend finding out just for peace of mind if nothing else
