Playing that her computer is infected and possible risk of her identify being stolen etc etc. and the screen was showing windows warning messages etc.
I had her shut her computer down and reboot. It appears to be working like normal.

Any follow up steps she should take? Does she need to change all her passwords?
Any thing she can do to see if her computer has malware/virus?
I told her to let me know if she sees anything out of the ordinary or if she gets more unexpected pop ups…
