What I mean by that is Nike for as long as I have known has made superior basketball shoes. It’s never even been close.

While they are still the best I have noticed lately that finding a good pair that fits and performs well has been increasingly difficult. It used to be I would try some on abs there would be four or five pairs I want. Now I am lucky if I can find any that fit and feel good to me.

Seems like they are less concerned about performance and more about style and looks. Can’t remember the last pair I tried on that didn’t feel like combat boots. I can’t imagine trying to play ball in some of these.

I imagine Nikes revenue from basketball shoes mainly comes from people who barely or never play basketball. They just want the newest color way of their favorite shoes. They have become casual wear instead of performance footwear.

I can’t be the only one who feels this way right?
