My home office is right up top facing outside, and I see the DoorDash person coming several times a week to my next door neighbor's townhome that's connected to mine. Meanwhile, their passenger car window broke last fall and they covered it in plastic all winter long because they couldn't afford a new window, and they're currently running a Gofundme because their house caught on fire a couple weeks ago and they can't afford the insurance deductible.

But on schedule, here comes the DoorDash person again for lunch today.

I don't make a ton but we get by ok, but I've still never felt like I could justify paying for DoorDash - especially where we live in Centerville where there's 20+ restaurants within 5 minutes.
