And I know you looked at some cars last week in Kaysville, so you're a verified expert up here, no doubt. But I've been involved in Davis County high school sports for over 30 years. Kids don't transfer here. It's why Utah County has the reputation it does.
I'm sorry if I'm the first person to tell you that Utah county kids have a reputation for changing schools so they can win. The reputation is earned.
And I don't discount your explanation for why teams may or may not be good. There are clearly cycles. But transfer rules and Utah County parents' penchant for mastering its intricacies are at least part of the problem. The resources and schools behind those are a consequence of the willingness to transfer, not the other way around.
