My post was incredibly TIC, but my point still stands about the level of team that we would likely have to replace the ND game with. Who were they going to get at home, on short notice, that would be a somewhat equivalent game to Notre Dame? Common sense would dictate that it was pretty slim pickings at that point. You can whine all that you want about the circumstances, which I completely agree were terrible, but there has been zero information/discussion about BYU passing up equivalent opportunities. At that point, ESPN was no longer going to have a vested interest in helping BYU to arrange anything because we are terminating our agreement due to the Big12 announcement, and there weren't any big-name teams sitting around with a vacancy on their schedule awaiting a call from Tom Holmoe.
