Agreed. I think you are seeing a lot more of that occur. Chappelle and Gervais
Netflix specials being examples of that.

I'm personally canceled on certain subjects on this board, so I can't use names but there are other prominent figures in government and entertainment that are doing the same.

People are beginning to stand up to the cancel culture mob. Supposedly, Johnny Depp is actually very private and the idea of airing his dirty laundry to the world would almost be unthinkable based on his psychology. I almost gag when I hear people talk about speaking "their truth," but in this case him choosing to open all the blinds and let everybody judge is a profile in courage, particularly if his preference for privacy as reported is true.

He clearly has his demons and I hope he gets help for them. But I would say in terms of whose story I believe, it's about 95% Depp, 5% Heard.

If I were on the jury I would award him damages.
