DFW, Chicago and visited a number of others. Homelessness is rampant in all of them. It's a plague and a scourge that no one seems to want to address (probably because there aren't any palatable policy answers).
But it needs to end. It's a problem that fosters crime and disease, drives business away, and makes virtually everyone feel uncomfortable. But society has become so concerned about "being kind" or not rocking the boat that I think we lack the resolve to do what needs to be done to fix the problem.
