I think they also acknowledge how enjoyed/successful CWs and Rebels content have
been.
When D bought Disney, they immediately canceled CW since it was on another network. Since then they’ve released two mini seasons of it, made Rebels, and doing Bad Batch.
From the teaser, Andor seems to use a lot of that content, Clone drop ships, phase II armor on troopers, etc
