At least the ones in Sept/Oct. It's still mild and comfortable outdoors.

I have my full Saturday to do what I need with plenty of time to get a nice dinner and then head down to the game. I've likely watched a ton of football during the day as well getting me worked up for that gameday experience later that evening.

My kids are old enough where coming home around midnight after the game isn't a big deal. And the LES experience at night is legit. The crowd feels more energetic and louder at night as opposed to a day game. The lights on the field make that Royal blue pop in person. The videoboards are bright and vivid at night.

I would love to keep those late nights on the schedule (and I'm certain we will). And we do have an advantage. Most of our visiting teams will be coming from an eastern timezone to play us at 8:15pm MT. Anyone who travels knows its much easier to acclimate to a trip East rather than heading West. Especially for teams not used to playing at night or anywhere close to midnight.

However, once we start to creep into Nov's cold late night games definitely start to suck. You can only layer up so much, but I've learned to cope with that as well. However, all due respect to the Utah Techs of the world that have filled our Indy Nov schedules, an end of season game aginst Baylor or Ok State with a meaningful B12 Conf Championship on the line makes any negatives for that late night experience quickly go away.
