Our son started ABA therapy this week. The place he is attending is a 13 mile drive (26 round trip). M-F

At best the odyssey my wife drives gets 26 MPG. So 1 gallon to drop him off and 1 gallon to pick him up. Most days I’ll be able to pick him up but it probably still adds about 20 miles to my commute in my civic so we will say that’s about 2/3 gallon if I’m getting 30MPG.

So… 1.66 gallons a day, 5 days a week at the current gas price at my Costco of $4.26 is about $35 extra a week we will be paying. With gas prices only going up, it’s gonna get worse. But ABA therapy will help our son and so it’s worth it.
