Well I'm going to say something that may seem insulting either to you
Or any friends or family of yours that have dogs.
The reason you feel that way is because you surround yourself with people who when acquiring dogs as pets either don't know what the heck they're doing in regards to properly preparing and training a dog, or they are slackers who just don't care because they are in love with the idea of having a dog, but not willing to do what it takes so they are lazy thinking it won't matter.
