1. It's not owned/operated by ESPN, so wouldn't be in the list of Bowl Games we're eligible for (unless some backroom trading happens)
2. It's relatively high priority for both the ACC and the Big 10 and not one they'll give up. Worth noting is that it's NEVER in its history had anything besides 2 P5 teams, and that this bowl is higher priority for the Big 10 than the Guaranteed Rate Bowl.... which is the one we'd get if they didn't have enough to fill.
So even if the B1G somehow didn't have enough to fill this game or the Guaranteed Rate Bowl, we'd get the GRB. Which would actually be pretty solid itself. But Pinstripe Bowl isn't really an option.
