I need a frying pan. I've always just bought basic teflon pans, and they always
wear out pretty quick.

I have a cast iron, and that's good for certain things, but not just regular daily stuff. Like a pasta or eggs, or whatever.

I understand that ceramic has the same problem as teflon - the non-stick will wear out, especially with high heat.

Steel (carbon or stainless?) apparently has longevity, but won't be as non-stick as teflon.

Recommendations?
